“A little gem of a place. Wonderful.”
“Great food, great service and wonderful people. I have truly enjoyed every second here. Peaceful + relaxing, would do it again in a heartbeat.
“A little cottage in the middle of nowhere. PERFECT! Nothing else to say!”
“Beautiful place, lovely view, so quiet and peaceful. It’s a pleasure to hear so many different birds singing. The hottubs are great, beautiful rooms and great hospitality. Very helpful, when in need. Will definitely come back!”
“It’s the best hotel/guesthouse for us in Iceland. Great view, convenient location, cozy room and restaurant. Great family who run this hotel. Just super.”
“Thank you for the wonderful stay we had in your lovely hotel. We enjoyed it to bits. Everything was perfect. The room, the hospitality, the breakfast and the weather. If we ever come back to Iceland (hopefully!) we definitely stay here again.”
“It was an excellent surprise to get to this hotel, after a whale watching tour in Husavik. We came and in the middle of nowhere found this lovely place to stay. Rooms are very big and beautiful, breakfast was very rich and we recommend going there very much. You will really enjoy it.”
“The staff were fantastic and helpful in every way. The room and views were incredible. Breakfast was wonderful and it’s ideal for viewing the Northern lights. What more could we ask for?
“Outstanding family owned hotel. Cottages are so well designed that you don’t think for a moment that they are small. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and smart personal touches that make you feel at home. Very friendly and helpful inn keeper. Good restaurant, waitresses are smiling! It’s so pleasant. The hotel is off the road in the middle of farmland, grassy hills. Very peaceful landscape indeed. Pity we couldn’t stay there longer. Maybe the next time.”
“My wife and I had a very pleasant 2-night stay at the Raudaskrida. The setting, high on a hillside meadow in the country, is lovely, and the service was excellent all around. The room was simple, very clean, and very satisfactory. We used the Raudaskrida as a base to explore Husavik and Myvatn.”
